Thanks for entrusting TaBlitz. (“TaBlitz”, “we”, “us”, “our”) with your data and your personal information. Our Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) is designed to help you understand how we collect, use, and share your personal information and to assist you in exercising the privacy rights available to you.

We intentionally take a very minimalistic approach to user data collection. We only store the information that we must store for the application to function. We do this out of respect for the privacy of our users and their company's data.

Scope

This Privacy Policy covers the personal information we collect about you when you use our products or services, or otherwise interact with us, including on our website at www.TaBlitz.app (“Website”), web applications at www.beta.TaBlitz.app and our related online and offline offerings.

What information we collect

We approach data collection with a minimalistic approach. We collect data that is required for TaBlitz to run and keep our users secure.

 

User Information we collect:

  • Name

  • Email

  • Company Name

 

Data we collect automatically:

  • User session timestamps

  • Saved Tablet Designs

Account and profile creation:

We require basic information when you create your account such as Name and Email. You may choose to give us more information for your profile, such as your company name and company logo.

Surveys:

We may contact you to participate in surveys. If you decide to participate, you may be asked to provide certain information which may include personal information.

Information collected automatically.

Usage data:

We collect detailed information about active sessions for your current login. This is used to keep your connection secure and prevent any unauthorized access.

When submitting support tickets your user information is submitted with your support request to identify the person to respond to.

While using TaBlitz, if an error is encountered during your session, we will record this error and analyze the issue to improve our user experience. We store this error with your user information so we can reach out to you if needed.

Cookies and similar technologies information:

We do not use tracking cookies of any kind. We create a single cookie to use for authentication requests.

How we use your information

We may use your personal information for the following purposes.

  • Providing you with a paid subscription or any other paid service you request;

De-identified and aggregated information use

We may use personal information and other data about you to create de-identified and/or aggregated information. De-identified and/or aggregated information is not personal information, and we may use and disclose such information in a number of ways, including internal research, internal analysis, internal analytics, and any other legally permissible purposes. For example, we may compile anonymized averages on the activity across our TaBlitz users to show usage statistics.

We do not share your personal data with anyone. We may share de-identified usage statistics with third parties.

Advertising partners

We do not use or share your information, including personal information, to advertise any third party’s products or services. We may use and share your personal information with third-party advertising partners to market our own services and grow our services user base, such as to provide targeted marketing about our own services via third-party services.

For legal disclosure

TaBlitz strives for transparency in complying with legal processes and legal obligations. Unless prevented from doing so by law or court order, or in rare, exigent circumstances, we make a reasonable effort to notify users of any legally compelled or required disclosure of their information. TaBlitz may disclose the information we collect about you to law enforcement if required in response to a valid subpoena, court order, search warrant, a similar government order, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to comply with our legal obligations, to protect our property or rights, or those of third parties or the public at large.

Disclosures to protect us or others

We may access, preserve, and disclose any information we store in association with you to external parties if we, in good faith, believe doing so is required or appropriate to: (i) comply with law enforcement or national security requests and legal processes, such as a court order or subpoena; (ii) protect your, our, or others rights, property, or safety; (iii) enforce our policies or contracts; (iv) collect amounts owed to us; or (v) assist with an investigation and prosecution of suspected or actual illegal activity.

Disclosure in the event of a merger, sale, or other asset transfer

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing due diligence, reorganization, bankruptcy, receivership, purchase or sale of assets, or transition of service to another provider, then your information may be sold or transferred as part of such a transaction, as permitted by law and/or contract.

We do not sell your personal information for monetary or other consideration. The California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (“CCPA”) requires businesses to state in their privacy policy whether or not they disclose personal information in exchange for monetary or other valuable consideration. While CCPA only covers California residents, when it goes into effect, we will voluntarily extend its core rights for people to control their data to all of our users, not just those who live in California.

How we secure your information

TaBlitz takes commercially reasonable steps designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction; maintain data accuracy; and help ensure the appropriate use of personal information.

No method of transmission, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.  Please keep this in mind when disclosing any personal information to us over the Internet.

How you can access and control the information we collect

Data access

Under The California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (“CCPA”), you have the right to access your data. You can request a copy of your data through email. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

Data retention

We store the personal information we receive as described in this Privacy Policy for as long as you use our services or as necessary to fulfill the purpose(s) for which it was collected, provide our services, resolve disputes, establish legal defenses, conduct audits, pursue legitimate business purposes, enforce our agreements, and comply with applicable laws.

Deletion of data

If you would like to cancel your account or delete your personal information, you may do so by contacting us via email. Barring legal requirements, we will delete your full profile (within reason). You may contact us to request the erasure of the data we process on the basis of consent within 30 days. After an account has been deleted, certain non-identifiable data may remain. However, we will delete or de-identify your personal information, including your name and email address.

We use a single cookie for authentication purposes. No tracking is associated with this cookie.

How we communicate with you

We use your email address to communicate with you, with your permission. For example, if you contact our support team with a request, we respond to you via email.

Depending on your email settings, we may occasionally send notification emails about product launches, new features, requests for feedback, important policy changes, or offer customer support. We also send marketing emails based on your choices and in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

Please note that you cannot opt out of receiving important communications from us, such as emails from our support team or system emails.
